The Korea New Zealand Business Council (KNZBC) is honoured to host the Smart Cooperation Forum 2025 on 24 October 2025 in Auckland, marking the 10th anniversary of the Korea–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (KNZFTA).

This Forum will serve as a pivotal platform to celebrate and advance strategic business and policy cooperation while strengthening the bilateral relationship between Korea and New Zealand.

About Forum objectives

This Forum aims to commemorate a decade of economic collaboration under the Korea–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (KNZFTA) while exploring new opportunities for mutual growth. Through high-level dialogue and exchange, the event will deepen economic, governmental, and industry-level ties between both countries.

Key objectives include:

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the KNZFTA.
Facilitate bilateral dialogue on innovation, trade, and economic opportunity.
Strengthen government-to-government and business-to-business cooperation.
Promote New Zealand’s global leadership in infrastructure, energy, and sustainable industries.
Enhance and deepen the Korea–New Zealand bilateral relationship.

Maurice Crosby, former CEO of Jack Link’s New Zealand Ltd, played a key role in expanding the brand into Korea. Though now retired, he remains active on several company boards and maintains strong business ties with Korea.
